He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martie Jacobs; his children, Nick Jacobs (Kristin) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. and Courtney Polcar (Tom) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Morgan Polcar of St. Louis, Jack, Sam and Abby Jacobs of Chagrin Falls; his siblings, Jerry Jacobs and Bob Jacobs (Meredith); his siblings-in-law, Shelley and Bill DiBacco; and his nieces and nephews, Meegan Elliott (Jim), Jon Wither (Gretchen) and Matt Wither (Jayme).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (33650 Solon Rd, Solon, OH 44139). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dominic Church (19000 Van Aken Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Aurora Cemetery (158 W Pioneer Trail, Aurora, OH 44202).
