We are sad to announce that, on November 12, 2025, at the age of 88, James R. Stephens of Aurora, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James R. is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stephens and Elsie Stephens (Rogers); and his former wife Carole Stephens (Lowcavage). He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Stephens (Twigger); his children, James R. Stephens, Jr. (Gayle), Carolyn McCollum (Jaime) and Robert Stephens; his grandchildren, Jacob, Jess, Abigail, Amelia and Sarah; and his great grandchild Finley James.
