He is survived by: his spouse Leonore "Lee" LaPlante; his children, Michael Haley (Jackie), Kathleen Mattie (late Raymond), Susan Gauntner, Mark Haley (Merri), David Haley (Pam), Eileen Simmons (Charles), June Harwood (late Kenneth), Timothy Haley and Kevin Haley (Mickey); his grandchildren, James (Heather), Erin (Rob), Emily (Alvin), Katie, Kevin (Kristi), Kelly, Matthew (Logan), Laura, Jayson, Tabetha (Adam), Ryan, Sarah (Kevin), Joshua (Kortni), Lauren, Andrew, Jessica (Anthony), Michaela and Paige; his great grandchildren, Connor, Harper, Haley, Mason, Victoria, Katherine, Zavier, Gabrielle, Carson, Jarod, Emerson, Ellis, Escher, Logan, Jaxson, Tripp and Trace; his sister Eileen Muscato (Herman); and his sister-in-law Carol Haley.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 1:25 PM at the Church of the Holy Angels Catholic Church (18205 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Aurora Cemetery S Aurora (54 S Aurora Rd, Aurora, OH 44202).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Reserve Care Hospice, formerly Hospice of the Western Reserve.
