He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Richards (Burley); his children, Robert Jr. (Sharon) of Aurora, David of Aurora, Eric of Florence, SC, Mark Richards (Shayna) of Stow, Alberta Borneo (Joseph) of Saline, MI and Denise Romero (Andy) of Houston, TX.; his grandchildren, Rachel Richards, Chelsea Richards, Robert Richards III, Brian Borneo, Nicholas Borneo, Jordan Richards, David Richards Jr., Erin Romero, Claire Romero, Sarah Richards, Olivia Richards and Trevor Richards; and his great grandchildren, Damien, Leela, Aria and Levi.
A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Green Funeral Care (4668 Pioneer Trail, Mantua, OH 44255). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (11045 St Joseph Blvd, Mantua, OH 44255).
