He was predeceased by: his daughter Donna Eileen Cardaman; and his siblings, Frank Cardaman, Rhona Fronek and Jacqueline Moravec. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Cindy Muron (late Tim), Collette Whims (Jeff) and Bill Cardaman (Ileana); his grandchildren, Sean, Caitlin Muron, Sari, Brendan Whims, Rachel, Anthony and Joe Cardaman; and his brother Roy Cardaman.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to The American Lung Association.
