She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Simpkins and Eula Simpkins; her husband Tommy Truckey; her son Tommy Truckey Jr.; and her siblings, Rosa Jeffrey-Verdi, Helen Knox, Brenda Workman, Robie Rose and Ernie Simpkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Boyd Truckey (Marne) and Rodney Truckey (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Adrienne Archer (Howard), Amy Truckey, Carly Truckey, Kari Truckey, Jacob Truckey and Josh Truckey. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and many bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
