It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christopher McVittie (Austintown, Ohio), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2020, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph, Theresa Ziomek and James McVittie; and his uncle Robert Ziomek. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ladesic; his daughters, Riley and Kennedi McVittie; his stepson Justin Ladesic (McKensey Healey); his parents, Sharon, William Long, Kirk and Sandra Davidson McVittie; his father-in-law Bill Young; his siblings, Erika Ohl (David), Danielle Gotshaw (Eric Savard), Kameron McVittie, Brian Long (Shaine) and Matthew Long (Chrissy); and his nieces and nephews, Dawson, Owen, Karlynn, Emilyn, Liam, Jordan, Alicia and Abbie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Christopher's memory may be made to his children, Riley and Kennedi McVittie by Venmo @Melissa-Ladesic1927 or mailed to Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, 2726 Center Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514 where all proceeds will be forwarded to the family.
