He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul David and Ruth Sallmen (Strong); and his siblings, Ruth Campbell, Mary Jane Barton, Martha Haza, Helen Mae Haza, Paul Sallmen, William Sallmen, James Sallmen, John Sallmen and Fred Sallmen.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Feil (Bob), Daniel Sallmen Jr. (Zoe), Diane Lewis (Albert) and Douglas Sallmen (SueAnn); and his sisters, Tia Straker of Tucson, AZ and Carol Jo Gibson of New Castle, PA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
