He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herbert and Helen Taneyhill (Howard); his wife Mary Lou Taneyhill; his siblings, Herbert Eugene Taneyhill and Mary Krise; his son Daniel R. Taneyhill, Jr.; his grandson Brian P. Yauger; and his son Russell Joseph.
He is survived by: his children, Faith Yauger (Don) of Mason City, Hope Taneyhill-Galbreath (Gary Jennings) of Niles, Ohio, Chris Taneyhill, Sr. (Pennie) of Canfield, Tim Taneyhill (Nan) of North Canton and Mark Joseph (Lori) of Fletcher; his daughter-in-law Rosiland Taneyhill of Fenton, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Jason Yauger, Amy Garrett (Yauger), Daniel Taneyhill, III, Darren Taneyhill, Matthew Taneyhill, Victoria Schaepe (Galbreath), David Taneyhill, Christopher Taneyhill, Jr., Stephanie Taneyhill, Zachary Taneyhill, Alexandra Taneyhill, Michael Joseph, Lindsey Lester (Joseph), Rusty Joseph and Lisa Joseph.
