He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Franken and Florence Null Franken; his sisters, Elaine Boomhower and Patricia O'Brien; and his wife Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Chu (Ken), Rebecca DiRocco, Rudy Franken (Cathy) and Mark Franken (Melody); and his stepsons, Daniel Clark and David Clark (Jean). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel (5797 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
