With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen J. Stanec of Austintown, Ohio, who passed away on November 26, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Stanec and Philomena Stanec; his sister Shirley Stanec; his uncle Johnny; his grandmother Olga Massaro; and his labradoodle Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Julia of Austintown; his children, Stephen J. Stanec, Jr. (Meri) of Charleston, SC, Jennifer Stanec Gonsalves (Glen) of Dallas, TX, Mike Stanec of Canfield, OH and Michelle Stanec of Austintown, OH; his stepdaughter Jennifer Robb; his sisters, Janet Stanec and Deborah Burnett (Victor); and his nieces and nephews, Dawn Blinsky, John Blinsky, Greg Blinsky (Lisa), Rachel Kusnic, Jillian Eddy (Justin) and Peter Kusnic.
