He is survived by: his wife Mary Lukanec Baird; his son William D. Baird; his stepson Paul Moore; his siblings, Robert, Kenneth and Diane; and his grandchildren, Kaylyn, Kyle Midkiff, Brenden, Reya Lamb, Alexis, Kylie and Bryson Short. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lake Milton State Park, Pavilion (16801 Mahoning Ave, Lake Milton, OH 44429).
