William I. Cene Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William I. Cene of Austintown, Ohio, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William I. Cene to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cene and Prisella Chumita Cene; his former wife Marilyn Maga Cene; and his brother Robert Cene. He is survived by: his wife Joann Stein-Cene; his children, William Cene (Carrie), Daniel Cene (Rebecca), Roseanne Messerly (Jeff) and Cheri Michael (Dan); his stepchildren, John Stein and Christina Church (Bill); and his grandchildren, Nicole Vallas (Corey), Gabrielle Kendall, Nathan, Daniella, Joseph, Joshua, Bella Cene, Sophia, William Messerly, Josh, Johnathan Stein, Brittany and Ashley Williams. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Church (4545 New Rd, Youngstown, OH 44515). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Bill's memory. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Windsor House at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center, Aventura at Humility House, and Patriot Hospice for their dedicated care.
