It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Swartz of Avon Lake, Ohio, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Roscoe Swartz. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Swartz; his wife Debbie Swartz; his son Henry Swartz; and his siblings, Julia Pfister, Diane Detrich and John Swartz.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Avon Lake Presbyterian Church (32340 Electric Blvd, Avon Lake, OH 44012).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles's memory to Avon Lake Presbyterian Church, a place that remained close to his heart for the last ten years of his ministry until he was forced to retire due to a diagnosis of MSA in 2021.
