It is with sadness that the passing of Jeanette C. Black of Avon Lake, Ohio is shared. Jeanette, born on February 11, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on September 28, 2026. She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Black; her parents, Thomas Conroy and Helen Conroy; and her siblings, Mary Virginia Moyer, Martha A. Conroy and John Conroy.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Cobos (Roberto) of Avon Lake, Laurie Strung (Jeffrey) of Westerville and James Black (Audrey) of Avon Lake; her niece Phyllis Maynor (late Charles) of Savannah; and her grandchildren, Christina, Celeste, Brittany, Caitlyn, Danielle, John and James. She is also survived by 14 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (32929 Lake Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012). A Mass was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (32929 Lake Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012). A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 4:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (32789 Detroit Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
