He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gardiner and Jeanne Gardiner; his brother Wally Gardiner; and his brother-in-law Joseph Margiasso. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Gardiner; his son Charlie Gardiner (Kendra); his grandchildren, Henri and Aiden; his sisters-in-law, Teri Gardiner and Dotty Margiasso; and his nieces and nephews, Ali, Greg (Danielle), Joseph Margiasso and Mary Cafferty.
