With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alex Bakaletz of Avon, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 102. He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa; his son Steven Bakaletz; his son-in-law Edward M. Krystowski; his grandson Christopher Bochkor; and his parents, Michael Bakaletz and Mary Bakaletz.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Bakaletz, Linda Krystowski, Susan Visconsi, Mary Simpson (Bill) and Barbara Bakaletz (Carl); his son-in-law Tony Visconsi II; his grandchildren, Megan White (Shawn), Kelsey Klaus (Aaron), Nicole Roth (Matt), Edward Krystowski, Laura Kiesel (Brian), Tony Visconsi III (Suzanne Muyshondt), Natalie Visconsi (Kevin Klein), Ben Simpson and Kathryn Simpson; his great grandchildren, Bodhi, Isla White, Ellis Klaus, Brooklyn, Coen Roth, Joseph, Edward Krystowski, Mason, Braden Kiesel, Casper and Willa Visconsi; his sisters-in-law, Annie McDowall, Jennie Forster (Jim) and Sophie Coolican; and his friends, Joe and Cheryl Hribar.
