She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Rivera and Carmen Arroyo Rivera; her daughter Deborah Beth Vargas; and her brother Wilfredo Rivera. She is survived by: her husband Fred M. Griffith; her daughters, Lora Bohn (Timothy) and Denise Stump (James Jr.); her grandchildren, Sarah McClaren (Tim), Joshua Bohn, Hannah Bohn, Maria Stump and Adam Stump; and her sisters, Carmen Torres, Rosa Miller (Vance), Linda Rivera, Minerva Palmero (Alejandro), Soraida Miranda and Nancy Bruce. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
