He is survived by: his grandchildren, Franklin Thornsberry Jr. (Renea), Joshua Thornsberry (Jeni), Stephanie DeLeon (Christopher) and Kelsey Leyva-Smith (Chris); and his siblings, Carl "Bo", Winford and Alice. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
