She was predeceased by: her husband Richard H.; her parents, Ralph Fobes and Fern Fobes; her brothers, Bernie Fobes (Betty) and Donald Fobes (Gertie); and her nephews, Denny and Donny Fobes.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Tober (Randal) of Avon Lake and Douglas Thompson (Karen) of Westerville; her granddaughters, Nicole Kostyo (Justin) and Bethany Tober; her nieces and nephews, Ron, Randy, Terry, Norma and Martha; and her cousin Tom Firor.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dicken, Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center (323 Middle Ave, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
