With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce A. Brand in Avon, Ohio, born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Ruth Thomas (Maiden); her husband Myron Brand; her brothers, Jimmy and Walter Thomas; and her sister-in-law Patty Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Benedict (George) of North Ridgeville, OH, Walter Boardwine (Connie), David Boardwine (Mickey) and Frank Boardwine (Misty); her siblings, Clarence Thomas (Peggy), Bill Thomas, Ted Thomas (Marie) and Diane Schaffer; her sister-in-law Anna Thomas; and her grandchildren, Jason (Andrea), Megan Richardson, Kristina, Kevin, Kenny, Michael, Frank, Joshua and Elizabeth Boardwine. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
