He was predeceased by: his father Charles Roland Lockhart; and his stepfather Wilford "Papaw" Swart. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, William Louis Lockhart Jr. (Bobbie), Sarah Kobulnicky (Scott) and Emily Lockhart; his grandchildren, Lexi DeLeon, William "Liam" Lockhart III and Alison Hope Kobulnicky; his mother Virginia Maude Swart; and his siblings, Charles Lockhart (Waneta), Greg Lockhart (Sandy), Marshall Lockhart (Rose), Mark Lockhart (Teresa), Geneva Metz (Dan), Teresa Lockhart and Dinah Jewell (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
