She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville "Preach" Brown and Carmel Brown (Weast); and her son Gene Broughton. She is survived by: her significant other Dewey Roof; her significant other's child Shirley Henderson (Heath); her daughter-in-law Tara Broughton; and her grandchildren, Steve Broughton (Robin) and Tabitha Hunter (Ron). She is also survived by four great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
