She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hodge and Ruth Cook Hodge; her husband Walter Sam Austin; her friend Pat Minney; her siblings, Anna Mae Losey and Bill Hodge; and her sister-in-law Ruthie Austin.

She is survived by : her daughter Denise Carroll; her grandchildren, Shawn Carroll and Casey Drum (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Mason Drum; her sister-in-law Anna Bakenhaster; and her friends, Ron Carroll, Mark and Brad Minney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
