William E. Takacs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William E. Takacs of Bainbridge, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley F.; his children, Jim Takacs (Lucia), Debbie Jeffers (Chris) and Denise McCalla (Mark); his pet Shadow; his grandchildren, Michelle Takacs, Stephen Takacs, Alex Jeffers, Ryan Jeffers, Sarah McCalla and Nicole McCalla; and his brothers, Donald and Louis Takacs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Funeral Home (16381 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Restland Cemetery (17759 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd, Novelty, OH 44072 in memory of Bill.
