He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Scites and Opal Scites (Heartwell); his children, Timothy Moody, Lisa Orume and Lonnie Ritter; and his sisters, Brenda Morris and Flora Griffith.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Miller-Moody (John), Beth Ann Cooper-Ramirez (Cleyber), Melissa Moody and Lorison Moody (Ann); and his siblings, Della Estep, Paul Scites, Melba Arnold, John Scites, Greathel Fannin, Ellen Scarberry and Bonnie Domina. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
