He was predeceased by: his parents, Eustace and Matilda; his wife Jane; his siblings, Joseph Paumier (Rose), Maurita Mahon (Dick) and Lorena; and his children, Michael, Joseph Paumier (Debra) and Suzanne Woodside (Mike).
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Resha), Thomas Paumier (Swan) and Catherine Domanski (Frank); and his grandchildren, Katrina, LaDonna, Barbie, Timmy, Becky, Matt, Alicia and Joseph II.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A vigil service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home - Baltimore (207 S Main St, Baltimore, OH 43105). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (5133 Walnut Rd, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Genevieve Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Bernie's memory be made to an organization of their choice that supports education or veteran services, causes that were close to his heart.
