It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Viola Shimp of Baltimore, Ohio, born in Fairfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Good and Tessa L. Good (Fausnaugh); her husbands, Harland Smyers and James Shimp; her children, John Smyers, Richard Smyers (Barbara) and Pat Hansmann (Hans); her stepdaughters, Bonnie Riley (John) and Dee Shimp; her daughter-in-law Mary Smyers; and her grandson Chase Sharrett.

She is survived by : her children, Shirley Wears (James) and Bill Smyers; her stepson Bob Shimp; and her niece Betty Sauls. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, sixteen great-great grandchildren.
