She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Elkins; her children, Carl Elkins Jr. and Michelle Elkins of Ohio; and her brother Melvin Schreckengost (Shelly) of Florida. She is survived by: her children, Renee Elkins, Tiffany Artis and C. J. Elkins; and her close friends, Diane Craddock and Carla Palmer. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, her kids; along with other relatives and friends.
