He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sons, David Smith (Barbara), Mark August (Pamela), Brad August (Colleen), Michael August (Kimberly), James Collins (Diane), Matthew August (Wendy) and Daniel August (Patrick Derr); and his siblings, Marilyn Zampano of California, Sandra Messner of Barberton and John August (Mary Ann) of Green. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
