She is survived by: her children, Marie Ailes (Thomas), Anthony Hooks (Camille) and Timothy Hooks (Elonda); her siblings, Joseph Nelson (Jean), Clint Nelson (Linda), John Nelson (Adrienne) and Willa Jackson (Edwin); and her grandchildren, Corrine Hooks, Daymond Hooks, Chaunte Watts (Benjamin), Thomas Clifford Ailes, Jr., Ashley Ailes, Ter'Shay Beasley, Stephanie Palmer, Tanqee Anderson (Dante), Jamilla Houston (Brandon), Anthony Hooks II, Marachi Cheatham Hooks, D'Shawna Hooks, Thaddeus Ingol (Midori), Timothy Hooks, Jr., Brion Johnson, Brianna Johnson, Sylvia Amos, Marcus Swan, Jr., Musa Swan and Kunta Swan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cox-McNulty Funeral Home (222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
