He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry and Georgia; his siblings, Larry, Elaine, Bernie, Caroline, Candy and Lolly; his son Garry Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Dana.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Burns; his children, Andrew (Tiffany), Matthew and Jennifer (Wayne); his grandchildren, Brandi, Melinda (Charlie), Christian (Macailia), Matthew, Raya, Tommy, Katelynn and Kaylani; and his siblings, Hubert (Judy) and Georgia. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
