He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ulichney and Olga Ulichney (Ratay); his brother Joe; and his granddaughter Kayla Mapel. He is survived by: his wife Sandy K. Welshhans; his daughters, Cheryl Mapel (Neil), Carol Thomas (Jeff Harris) and Laurie Morrison (Brian); his grandchildren, Adam Mapel (Lauren), Paige Leemaster (Josh), Emilie, Matthew Thomas, Tiffany Forsythe (Kyle), Nicole Daniel (Jud) and Tim Morrison; and his great grandchildren, Jayla, Allayah, Carlee, Scarlett, Adalynn, Carter, Berklee and Reese.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
