It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gretchen K. Pappas (Barberton, Ohio), who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her husband James Pappas; her parents, Dave Kovack and Janice Kovack; her grandmother Helen Flickinger; and her father-in-law Tony Pappas.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home (1199 Wooster Rd W, Barberton, OH 44203). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (204 6th St NW, Barberton, OH 44203).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial donations be made to support The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research (313899) at the OSU James Cancer Hospital and SOLOVE Research Institute.
