He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. J. W. Burch and Thelma Burch; his stepmother Maxine Burch; his son James Robert Burch Jr.; his brothers, Jackie Burch and Chuck Burch; his grandchildren, Shawna Flesher and Ronald Burch Jr.; and his mother-in-law Laura Hickman.
He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Rebecca Burch, Mellissa Chaney (John), Ronald L. Burch (Maggie), Tim Burch (Melissa) and Chris Pachis; and his siblings, Jennings Burch, David Burch and Rebecca McLure (Andy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, friends, and special four-legged friend.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home (566 W Park Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
