He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron and Arline. He is survived by: his wife Sharman Hawes Stender; his daughters, Karen Stender Gondek and Sarah Stender Happ; his sons-in-law, Joe Gondek and Brian Happ; his grandchildren, Kai, Dylan, Desmond, Theodore and Gwendolen; his siblings, Alan, Tom, Bob, Jane, Barbara and John; and his family Barberton. He is also survived by The oldest of seven brothers and sisters.
