He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Sutton (Geier); his parents, Burl Sutton and Mary Lou Sutton; his parents-in-law, Margit and Geza Geier, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Geza Geier, Jr..
He is survived by: his son David Sutton of Barberton; his granddaughter Elena; and his siblings, Richard Sutton, Cynthia Sutton, Dan Sutton (Bonnie), Bob Sutton (Becky), Betty Sutton (Doug Corwon) and Becky Geier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
