We are sad to announce that, on August 25, 2025, at the age of 45, Joseph Scaffidi (Barberton, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Michael James, Jr. (Joseph). He is survived by: his mother Verdie; his siblings, Sonya Ferguson (Stephen) and Michael James III; his aunts and uncles, Rose Rock, Carol Davis, Sue Shade (Jim), Wayne Davis (Becca) and Shirley Moss; his niece Melissa DeGuia; his great-nieces, Airis and Zoey Lynn; and his great-nephew J. J.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

The family has asked that any memorials be donated to the American Diabetes Association.
