He was predeceased by: his son Jason Weiss; and his sisters, Bernice Harris (Shirley), Susan Ann Weiss and Mary Weiss. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Michael Weiss (Melissa), Mark Weiss, Michelle Powell (Shawn) and John Khoury (Dalia); his daughter-in-law Joan Weiss; his grandchildren, Jared Weiss (Lauren), Emily De La (Eduardo), Kayla, Jenna Weiss, Sarah Lemmon (Dustin), Jared Bittinger, Isabella Powell, Joseph, Isaac and Joanna Khoury; his great grandchildren, Amos, Adele Weiss and Lucy Lemmon; and his siblings, Philip "Phil" Weiss (Janet), Estil "Duke" Weiss, Tracy "Jeff" Weiss (Bonnie), Richard "Doc" Weiss (Diane), Elizabeth "Libby" Grant (Ken) and Janet "Fred" Meadows (Dickie).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Christian Church (4613 S Main St, Akron, OH 44319).
