It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretto Jean Rees of Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loretto Jean Rees to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Mary Lois Henry (George); and her siblings, Janet Shannon, Patricia Baker, Mary Jane Somerick, Cordelia Henry and Jim Henry.
She is survived by: her husband Richard J Rees; her daughters, Robin J Rees and Rebecca J Rees; her grandson Evan M. Rees; and her son-in-law Juan "Ed" Oviedo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and a multitude of extended family.
In lieu of services, we encourage those who wish to celebrate her life to generously donate "in memory" of Loretto to the charities that reflected her sentiments, such as St. Jude, Catholic Charities, and animal rescues.
