She was predeceased by : her son Ted Eric Dawson; her parents, Tillie West and Orville West; her brother Ted McMillen (Sue); and her sister-in-law Michelle Alvord.

She is survived by : her niece Michele Graves; her nephew Martin Alvord; her husband Matthew; her daughters, Joy Dawson and Bobbi Ann Gohlke; her grandchildren, Joshua Hart and Autumn Dawson; her brother Dale "Wally" McMillen (Cindy); and her siblings-in-law, Renee Schondel (Bill) and Barry Alvord (Patty). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
