He was predeceased by: his mother Norma Sbory; his brother Mike; his father-in-law Scott DeLauder; and his sister-in-law Bobbie McCunne. He is survived by: his father John Sbory; his wife Laura; his sons, Evan, Robert Jr. (Alyssa) and Zac; his granddaughter Avery; his nephew Brandon Sparks; his siblings, Christine Myers (Ron), Tim Sbory, Ann Sbory (Jeff Osborne) and Mary Cogar (Mark); his mother-in-law Janet DeLauder; his siblings-in-law, Karen Sbory, Loretta Hanna, David DeLauder (Pam), Tim DeLauder (Angie) and Scott DeLauder (Jennifer); his aunt Lucille; his uncle Clem Hornacek; his pets, Carley and Bumper; his friends, Maureen Shannon, Mark Lucas, Mike Sebe and Francis Vislavsky; his caregivers, Taunia and Theresa; his nephews, Logan and Curtis Arvay; Eric Salmons. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family so that Robert's son, Evan, can continue his college education.
