He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin and Margaret Martin; his in-laws, Vincent and Helen LaVeglia; and his brother-in-law Tom Metzger.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Jan Martin Schoeppner (Brian) and Brian Martin (Christine); his grandchildren, David, Elizabeth and Michael Schoeppner; his sisters, Carol Metzger and Peggy Hallo (Tim); and his sister-in-law Doris Choma (Allen).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church (363 Cherry St E, Canal Fulton, OH 44614). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
