He was predeceased by: his father Jerome V. Stephen; his wife Cheryl J. Stephens (Luyster); his son Clint Stephens; his siblings, Norman Stephens, Joe Stephen and Nerita Wineman; and his great grandchild Annistyn Betts.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Stephens (Camela Kindle) of Calais, Delmas Stephens, Jr. (Adrienne) and Lynn Betts (Dale) of Somerton; his grandchildren, Christopher, Eric, Chelsea, Scotty, Mallory, Heather, Derek, Trystan, Jamie, Casey, Courtney, Devin and Jacob; and his great grandchild Dallas Stephen of Canton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Delmas' memory to the Somerton Park.
