He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Householder and Chloe Householder; his wives, Rosemary Householder (Miller) and Ruth Householder (Smith); and his siblings, Madgel Gray, Edith Murphy and Euril Householder.

He is survived by: his sons, Tony Householder (Debbie) of Barnesville and Tom Householder (Valerie) of Barnesville; and his grandchildren, Jamie Beierle (Eben), Lynn Glenn (Chuck), Sarah Lansing (Peter Cabe), Matthew Householder, Eric Householder, Zachary Householder, John Householder (Sarah) and Chelsea Householder. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
