She was predeceased by: her father Russel Phillips; her husband Richard "Dick" Wayne Carpenter; and her sisters, Ruth Hunstman, Louise Garrison and Marjorie Lippert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jody Hunter (Greg) of Barnesville, Jill Carpenter (Chris) of Barnesville and Sherri Carpenter (Keith McMillan) of Barnesville; her grandchildren, Leslie Daugherty (Matt), Hillary Abrigg (Jason), Chad Hunter (Amanda), Kyle Gibson and Fallyn Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Madyson, Braydon, Shayla, Josey, Lakyn, Jaydon and Landyn; and her pet Sebastian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
