He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Howell and Beverley Wharton (Stuckey); his grandparents, Ernest, Mildred Howell (Cross), George and Mabel Stuckey (Armstrong); and his stepfather John Wharton.
He is survived by: his wife Dee Dee Howell (Costello); his children, Ashley Hannahs (Lance) of Barnesville and Dustin Howell of Barnesville; his brothers, Timothy Howell (Mindy) of Bethesda and Rhett Wharton of Barnesville; his grandchildren, Ayden and Christien Hannahs of Barnesville; his nieces, Sayrde Meikle (Howell) of Colorado and Chloe Howell of Bethesda; and his nephew Sam Howell of South Carolina.
