He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Brown and Grace Brown (Wiley); his former wife Catherine Brown (Dillinger); his wife Doris Hissom Brown (Pekari); and his sister Nancy Gallagher.
He is survived by: his sister Rosemary Ballard of Hickory; his stepsons, Dave Hissom (Jeanette) and Joe Hissom (Linda); and his stepgrandchildren, Denise Hissom Jones (JIm), Jill Hissom and Matt Hissom (Megan). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home (319 N Chestnut St, Barnesville, OH 43713). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
