We are sad to announce that, on December 18, 2020, at the age of 91, Melvin Krumrei of Barnesville, Ohio, born in Amberg, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Krumrei and Elizabeth Krumrei (Makovsky); his wife Alice Krumrei (Reeves); and his siblings, Ernest Krumrei, John Krumrei and Helen Elam.

He is survived by: his children, Pam Snyder (Bob), Patricia Murphy (Kieran), Nick Krumrei (Ruth) and Johnathan Krumrei; and his siblings, Jim Krumrei (Ruth), Caroline Glass and Elaine Petry. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

In accordance with Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required for visitation on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 3 until the time of service at 4pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio 43713.

“Ruth and I watched the funeral service with much interest. We are pleased that it was far from a sad occasion. Christians have every reason to be thankful for their eternal home in heaven after their life on earth. We regret not being able to come to the funeral, BUT it certainly was a wonderful gesture of the funeral home to make the telecast of the service available to us in Holland, California as well as many other locations. It was almost like being in the audience. May God bless the family.”
