He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Kaul; his daughters, Leela Asha Kaul and Anita Rani Kaul; and his siblings, Bansi Lal Pandita (Parvesh) and Autar Krishan Pandita. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Walton Retirement Home, Barnesville, Ohio.
